Jared and his wife Joni have been members of Good Samaritan since the parish's founding, and were sent to Trinity School for Ministry in Ambridge, PA in 2009 as Jared studied for ordination in the Anglican Network in Canada.  Jared finished his 3-year M.Div. programme just this month, and this will be his first full-time ministry position.

Jared and Joni have two children, Daniel (5) and Noah (3), and are expecting another baby this December.

Three members of our congregation will be travelling to Argentina in late April 2012 to take part in a Habitat for Humanity Global Village Build. To assist in their fundraising efforts, the parish is asked to bring in any recyclable beverage containers on Sunday, April 8. The parish will gather to discuss entering the tender process to purchase a piece of land on Park Avenue, Mount Pearl, the former site of Park Avenue Elementary.  All parishioners are strongly urged to attend this meeting, and urged more strongly still to be in prayer over this important decision.
